You asked- we answered. Its starting to feel like autumn here in New Zealand and nothing slaps more than hot fried bread on a cold night 🤤
1 cup of water
1 sachet of yeast (equivalent to 2 tsp) and dont forget to check your dates! Old yeast won’t rise.
2 tbsp of sugar
Enough flour to make a soft dough- reason being, you may have a different sized cup therefore needing a different amount of water to combine ingredients. Practise makes perfect!
Leave dough to rise for 1 1/2 hours or if in hot water 1 hour should suffice.
2 cups of oil (or there abouts depending on your pot/pan) to fry your bread
