This dish is widely known in Maharashtra as Kuldachi Pithi. This is mainly prepared using the Horse Gram Flour. I did not know about this dish for the longest time and just got to know about it now when I started living with my room mate. My room mate is a Maharashtrian and this is one of the staple food at her house. She was really missing her home and the food that her mother makes. I thought of recreating her mother’s recipe for her. I am presenting to you the recipe that was made at her home, Kuldachi Pithi. I had it for the first time and was blown away by the simplicity of this wonderful delicacy. The USP of this dish is its simplicity and how well it goes with rice as well as roti. It is certainly something I would recommend everyone to try. I personally loved it.
