Upma is a common breakfast in every household. But sometimes we fail in preparation of upma because of hurry or any other reasons. Some of us don’t know exact measurements for upma, so we fail in upma. In today’s video correct step by step explaination is given on preparation of perfect nonsticky & tasty upma. There are different types of rava and different methods followed for each type. In this method we used medium rava and not added any vegetables. Other methods of upma preparation will be presented in future days.


Medium Rava 500grms
Ghee or coconut oil 1/2 cup
Mustard seeds 1sp
Dry red chilli 1
Urad dal 1sp
Ground nut 1hand full
Salt to taste
Sugar 1sp
Greated coconut 1/2 cup
Curry leaves
Green chilli 2
Ginger 2inches
Coriender leaves
Lemem juice 2sp
Water 1ltr
