Spicy Garlic Tofu, Vegetarian Recipe

Ingredients
6 pcs tofu cut into 4
2-3 tbsp cooking oil
1 handful of spring onion
1 onion
4 cloves garlic, some with skin
1 inch ginger slices
3-4 dried chilies
2 tbsp corn flour
some dash of white pepper
salt

Mixing sauce
1 tbsp light soy sauce
1 tbsp dark soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
some sugar, optional
1 tbsp white vinegar
100ml water

Cooking Method
1. Use bowl to mix light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar and water. Keep aside.
2. In different bowl, mix corn flour, white pepper and salt.
3. Chop spring onion white part finely and green part part 2 inch long. keep aside
3. Add tofu into corn flour mixture and coat well.
4. Heat a pan with oil for frying the coated tofu.
5. Fry till all side turn golden. Transfer and keep aside.
6. Heat a pan with oil. Add garlic, ginger, dried chilies and onion. Sauté till onion translucent
7. Add white part of spring onion. Stir for a min
8. Add the sauce that mixed earlier. Stir till bubbles up
9. Put in fried tofu. Mix gently till well combined. Let it cook for 1-2 mins.
10. Off the flame and add in green part of spring onions.
