For my first YouTube video I wanted to introduce and present to you in an easy way the Mediterranean and Crete way of life.

It is a diet that is very rich in healthy oils and fats and that is very beneficial as it is anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, rich in omega 3 and low in omega 6.
The food you eat the most in this diet are first of all, lots of vegetables of all different colours as they will provide different polyphenols which are excellent for your health and will boost your antioxidants.
You should also eat a lot of crucifers (radishes, cauliflower, broccoli, …), healthy oils such as rapeseed oil, olive oil and all sorts of nuts (macadamia, walnuts, almonds, …).
You should not forget to use spices and herbs as they are also excellent for your health, as well as fatty fish such as sardines and finally, do not forget about the fermented dairy products (feta, goat cheese, …) and fruits (preferably low in sugar such as berries).
As for drinks, you should drink water, green tea, coffee and a glass of red wine!
Get some sunshine and do some activities outdoors as well.
